Paper & Promise
Terms of Service
The promises behind the promise. Last updated 13 August 2026 · draft for review.
Who we are
Paper & Promise is a business of Port Jackson Group (ABN 25 687 963 987), Australia. These terms cover the Design Studio, Ever After website memberships and Yours Outright website builds. By purchasing or using any of them, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
The Design Studio licence
Your studio unlock is a personal licence for one couple and one wedding (including that wedding’s related celebrations — engagement party, showers, rehearsal dinner and thank-yous). You may personalise the designs, export the files, and print as many copies as your own celebrations need, using any printer or print shop you choose.
You may not resell, share, sub-licence or redistribute the designs, templates or exported files; use them for another couple’s wedding or any commercial purpose; or claim the artwork as your own. The designs remain our intellectual property — what you own is your personalised prints and files for your own use.
Licence keys are delivered by email after payment through our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy. Keep your receipt; your key can be retrieved from your Lemon Squeezy order at any time.
Ever After website memberships
Memberships are a renewable service, not a lifetime guarantee. Hosting, security and storage continue while your plan is active and paid. We will send clear renewal notices before each renewal. You can cancel at any time; your site then remains available until the end of the period you have paid for, followed by a 60-day window to download your complete archive before the site closes.
You own your content — your words, photographs, videos and guest information. We claim no rights over them beyond what is needed to host and display your site to the people you invite.
Yours Outright websites
With Yours Outright, we build your site, transfer the complete files to you, and help you set it up on hosting and a domain registered in your own name. We provide handover support for 30 days from delivery. After that, the site, its hosting, its upkeep and its costs are entirely yours, and our involvement ends unless you engage us again.
Acceptable use
Sites and stationery may not be used for anything unlawful, or to host content that is defamatory, infringing or harmful. We may suspend a hosted site that breaches this, after contacting you where reasonably possible.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product or service concerned. Nothing in these terms limits the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia.
